There have been reports that Lil Wayne partied it up in Atlanta with his rumored girlfriend Shanell aka SNL while Nivea delivered his son. Well that's not true. As of the 14th of Nov. Nivea has not had the baby as earlier reported. She was on her twitter saying about the rumors "I don't know but I sure wish it was true" and when asked if she had the baby she tweeted "not yet :\" Here is what really happened.

Young Money took over Atlanta this past Friday to celebrate their girl's Shanell's birthday along with Drake, Wayne, D. Woods, Neffe and many more. You might remember Shanell from the "Prom Queen" video. She's also rumored to be Wayne's current girlfriend. Wayne seemed in good spirits despite his pending jail time. We were told he was laughing and smiling and talked to a bunch of people. GlobalGrind would like to take this time to wish Shanell a very happy birthday.

The father who sensationally accused Michael Jackson of molesting his 13-year-old son has committed suicide, it was revealed last night.

Chandler, 65, died in his luxury waterfront flat in Jersey City, New Jersey, on November 5, but details of the death only emerged yesterday.

'I won't confirm or deny anything,' said Chandler's brother, Raymond, a California lawyer. Jersey City Police confirmed the death.

Bill T. Jones the Award winning American artistic director / Choreographer and dancer has resurrected the Nigerian legend Fela in Broadway.

Fela! is a musical with a book by Bill T. Jones and Jim Lewis, music and lyrics by Fela Kuti, additional music by Aaron Johnson and Jordan Mclean and additional lyrics by Jim Lewis. It is based on events in the life of ground breaking Nigerian composer and activist Fela Anikulapo-Kuti, depicting Kuti as the target of 1,000 soldiers determined to put an end to his public performances at the legendary Lagos nightclub The Shrine.

The musical ran off-Broadway for one month in 2008 and was premièred on Broadway in October 2009. The off-Broadway production won the Lucille Lortel Awards for Best Musical, Outstanding Choreographer for Bill T. Jones and Outstanding Costume Design for Marina Draghici.

The Broadway production is scheduled to begin previews at the Eugene O'Neill Theatre on October 19, 2009 and to open officially on November 23. Again directed and choreographed by Jones, the cast will include Ngaujah as Fela, Saycon Sengbloh as Sandra and Lillias White as Funmilayo.

For both productions, Kuti's music has been arranged and performed by the Brooklyn-based Antibalas Afrobeat Orchestra.
